This charming home/cabin was built of high quality materials by a Swiss builder in the area for a German family and was very nicely done. It is a little over 1,000 sq ft in size.  Due to health problems, the couple returned to Europe and were not able to live in it very long .

Kitchen- modern and cozy

This chalet had operated as "Antelope Ranch" and has been rented several times.   Pergo type wood floors were installed in 2012.   There are great views out of every window. Behind the kitchen is a utility area with the hot water heater and pressure pump for the water system, and then there is a full bath with tile floors, and a shower.  We have photos of the bathroom, at your request.

Located north of Blanca on 4th Street, the parcel is nestled at the base of Mt. Blanca and is a quick 5 minutes into town for supplies and mail on Hwy 160 or on west to Alamosa to Wal*Mart.  The location is excellent for heading to the Sand Dunes, over towards Fort Garland to the fort and the museum, or off fishing to one of the area's lakes.  Wonderful sunrises, sunset, and all the hiking you can squeeze in.  Find the parcel by going north on Cedar out of Blanca and turning east on 4th Street then going almost to Oak Street.  It is easy to spot in that area.
This would make a good retirement home for one or two people or for a single person with one child.  If properly rehabbed with some new windows, a wood-burning stove, a few other improvements, it would be a good investment for a carpenter who can do the improvements themselves and save on labor.
